This is an omnibus, written small, and contains a complete series. Despite being fragmented, the 'Warhammer 40000'–based novel 'Prospero Burns' takes the Space Wolves to a new high. It is a fairly extensive online reference for all things Warhammer- Fantasy and 40K- and will help you translate some of the craziness. So you're getting a review for the whole kit and caboodle. The thing I have always liked about the Warhammer 40000 universe is its very interesting backstory and its huge scope. It tells the Quality-wise this is compared to Eisenhorn, the first series is still considered the better one but the quality is supposed to be similar and if someone liked the first he should like this too. My recomendations would be the eisenhorn omnibus, or the gaunt's ghosts series. The great majority of this supposed quality comes from a particular writer who consolidated as the main pillar of the whole Black Library, and so of the Warhammer 40k universe in literary form: Dan Abnett. The Ravenor trilogy, collected in this Omnibus, takes place in the bleak setting of Warhammer 40,000, where there is only war. With his warband he scourges the galaxy in order to root out heresy. Now, I read these books in the omnibus version (pictured above) which consisted of the novel Xenos, Malleus, and Hereticus, as well as the short stories Missing in Action and Backcloth for a Crown Additional. Prospero Burns is a work of fan fiction based upon the Warhammer 40,000 gaming universe. I have recently been quite enjoying the Warhammer 40000 omnibus 'Eisenhorn'. Summary: My recommended novel for those interested in war games, shows like Band of Brothers, etc., The Founding is the beginning omnibus for the well known Gaunt's Ghosts series. Inquisitor Eisenhorn is one on the most senior members of the Imperial Inquisition. Dan Abnett - Ravenor: The Omnibus. Into the 40k universe since the mid 90′s) and i love abnett's writing, i do recommend starting with his work for anyone looking to take a step into the 40k universe. The Founding follows the first steps of Following the journey of Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn (And later his apprentice, Gideon Ravenor), these novels seek to immerse you in the dark shadowy realms of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
